Cinema Systers is the ONLY all lesbian film festival and the USA.
OUR MISSION
To uplift the visions and voices of lesbian filmmakers, and to provide a dedicated space to publicly showcase their art.
We intend to build bridges among audiences, filmmakers and the community at large through the exhibition of lesbian produced films and other events scheduled throughout the weekend.
OUR FESTIVAL
Cinema Systers Film Festival is an "acorn" from the Michigan Womyn's Music Festival.
Thank you, Lisa Vogel, the dedicated worker community, and the thousands of MichFest attendees, for 40 years of building womyn's community.
We exist today, because you showed us the way.
