Rebecca Stamper

Rebecca Stamper is a native of southern Ohio, who first migrated down river to western Kentucky in 2011 to attend Murray State University, earning a bachelor’s degree in literature in 2015. After a short stint in Nashville, she came back to the area in 2017 to plant roots in Kentucky, calling Paducah her home. With a deep passion for stories of all kinds, Rebecca found that Maiden Alley, its programming, and its community were the perfect outlet.

Rebecca has been a board member of Maiden Alley since 2018, and has been heavily involved as a volunteer behind the counter at the box office and concession stand, as well as at events such as Oktoberfest, Rivers Edge International Film Festival, and Cartel: Feeding Creativity. She also participates in the 48 Hour Film Festival and is a part of the local film-making community with her fiance, Austin.

When not at Maiden Alley, Rebecca can be found enjoying a drink and talking about movies and media with her friends at one of Paducah’s fine watering holes, snuggling her dachshund, Linus Longbottom, musing about her future farm dreams or diligently working on her master’s degree in Public Relations and Communications.
